RED HATTERS SPEND THE DAY ON SUN CRUZ

On May 4, 2009 there were 28 Red Hat Ladies that boarded a bus in St. Lucie West headed to Cape Canaveral to go on the Sun Cruz. The group left at 8am.

Chapters attending were Capella Rosa, Dazzling Dames in Red, Foxy Red Hatters, Lake Charles Classy Redkettes, Lucie Goosies, Purple Passion Ladies, Rebels with Hatatude, and Scarlet Madhatters of the Cascades.

The Lucie Goosies sponsored this trip.

The bus trip took about 1 hour 45 minutes to get to our destination. We were each given a players card, and a coupon for lunch and one free drink.

There was a singer and a guitar player on the main floor of the ship playing music both as we went out to the 3 mile marker and also on our return trip back to Port Canaveral. Each person was given one free spin for a chance on a prize later. We also received coffee and Danish.

Angel Decker, Vice Queen of Dazzling Dames in Red won about $400. Fran Deering, member of the Lucie Goosies won about $30. Most of the other women broke even.
