Dazzling Dames Cruise on Island Princess

On Thursday, May 21, 2009 six members of the Dazzling Dames in Red and one member of the Lucie Goosies set out aboard the Island Princess for a cruise down the Indian River. Besides the captain - Captain Bob, and his two mates - Pepper and Lori - were Queen Florence Jones, Vice Queen Angel Decker, Vice Queen Elaine Leming, Evelyn Martin, Evelyn Gilliland, Alice Price and Queen Eileen Barrett.

We left the dock at The Finest Kind Marina in the Manatee Pocket in Stuart at 9:20am. Our group took the Jupiter Island Luncheon Cruise. This delightful luncheon cruise travels south along the Indian River to Florida's most exclusive island where America's ultra-rich reside. We cruise by homes of celebrities such as Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, Burt Reynolds and the late Perry Como.

Once we reached the Jupiter lighthouse, Captain Bob maneuvered the boat around for the return trip. Pepper and Lori brought all of us a boxed lunch. Inside was a Turkey, Ham and cheese crossaint, lettuce and tomato, some fruit (strawberries, grapes, and cantelope) and a chocolate chip or oatmeal cookie. Everything was delicious. Lori and Pepper also serve as bartenders.

Even though the skies were overcast, we had a wonderful day. It never rains on Red Hatters having fun. We took out our Red Waxed lips and posed for a group picture. Pepper took the photo.
