TEA at Borders

On Sunday, May 31, 2009 Capella Rosa sponsored a Tea at Borders in the Treasure Coast Mall in Jensen Beach.

There were 50 ladies from the following chapters attending: Capella Rosa, Lucie Goosies, Scarlet Vamps, Red Hat Sweetie Pies, Foxy Red Hatters, Crimson Charmers, Red Hat Tomatoes, Classic Crimson Cruisers, and Bling Bling Babes.
There were several poems read by members of Capella Rosa.

The May Birthday Girls were asked to stand while the other ladies sang and played their Kazoos. The Birthday Girls were Gail Marineau, VQ of the Classic Crimson Cruisers, Rita Woodburn of the Foxy Red Hatters, Kathy McAmis of the Lucie Goosies and Eileen Barrett, Queen of the Lucie Goosies.

Everyone stood to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and the Red Hat Pledge.

There was a presentation to the 1st to pay to Eileen Barrett. She received a bottle of MAD HOUSEWIFE Merlot. There were several door prizes given out.

The Red Hat split winners were: Eileen Barrett, Queen of the Lucie Goosies, Rose Marie Stern and Beverly Murtha of the Cherry Charmers.

Borders gave a door prize, a goody bag, and each girl received a coffee/Tea Mug. We also received a coupon for 30% off any purchase made today.
