Royalty at Panther Woods Country Club

On Saturday, October 10, 2009 sixty-four Red Hat Queens and Vice Queens gathered at Panther Woods Country Club for their quarterly luncheon. Chapters represented were: Beach Babes, Bling Bling Babes, Boop Oop A Doop Girls, Chapeau Rouge, Classic Crimson Cruisers, Classy Red Foxes, Crimson Chapeleres, Crimson Charmers, Crimson Tea Roses, Dazzling Dames in Red, Foxy Red Hatters, Friends to the End, Frivilous Flirts, Glad Hatters of Vero, Golden Girls of the Treasure Coast, Hurricane Hatters, Les Femme En Rouge, Lucie Goosies, Pampered Pack of Peacocks, Pizazzy Pineapples, Purple Passion Ladies, Purple Passions of Hutchinson Island, Rebels with Hatatude, Red Bonnet Belles, Red Hat Divas, Red Hat Honeys, Red Hattitudes of PLV, Red Hat Tomatoes, Royal Queen of Queens, Scarlet Dames, Scarlet Pimpernels, South Brevard Scarlet Belles and the Treasure Coast Ruby Red Jewels.

Martha Dewey, Queen of Purple Passion Ladies and Kristine Loessin, Queen of Pampered Pack of Peacocks greeted each lady as they arrived. As they checked in, they were given a red 2010 Planner and instructions for a game that we would be playing later to help us all get better acquainted - People Bingo. The "blank" Bingo cards were left at each place setting. Each lady was instructed to have someone sign each square on the Bingo Card. After lunch, Shirley Doney, Queen of Friends to the End read the names of ladies as they were drawn. As each name was drawn and read, they were ask to stand so that everyone could put a name and face together. The straight Bingo was won by Shelby Lowe, Queen of the Beach Babes. The Plus Sign Bingo and the cover-all Bingo winner was Daren Lamb, Queen of the Golden Girls of the Treasure Coast.

Florence Jones, Queen of Dazzling Dames in Red and Angel Decker, Vice Queen of Dazzling Dames in Red sold Red Hat Split tickets.

Our Mistress of Ceremonies was Sidney Weber, Queen of the Classic Crimson Cruisers.

Our lunch consisted of Salad, Choice of roast Pork, Petite Filet or Chicken Piccata, mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots), red roasted potatoes, Rolls and Ice Tea and Coffee. For Dessert we had Red Devils Food Cake.

Sidney Weber presented a bottle of wine to Elva Wells and Bobbi McHugh - Queen and Vice Queen of the Red Bonnet Belles for being the first to pay to attend the luncheon.

Eileen Barrett, Queen of the Lucie Goosies acknowledged several Queens and Vice Queens who have attended all the Queens and Vice Queens Luncheons in 2009. They were each presented with a bottle of wine. They were: Rebels with Hatatude (Alma Bennet, Nancy Koffer), Purple Passions of Hutchinson Island (Linda Pellens, Maxine Bowman), Crimson Chapeleres (Elaine Wilson, Flo Shortz), Treasure Coast Ruby Red Jewels (Dorothy Greer, Mary Ross, Jackie Perhach) and Foxy Red Hatters (Sheila Howard, Barbara Martin).

The winner of the Red Hat Split was Nancy Koffer, Vice Queen of Rebels with Hatatude. She won $130.00.
