It's Time to Tee it Up with PAL

The annual golf tournament for the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League is almost here! This year, the event takes place on Saturday, August 16 at the Saints Golf Course in Port St. Lucie. The shotgun start begins at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event help support the many programs PAL operates for the youth of the community.

The entry fee for the tournament is $75 per person. This includes greens fees and cart, a continental breakfast, luncheon after the tournament, a golf shirt, and door prizes.

The four-person team scramble will include two flights - championship and handicap. For each flight, trophies will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams. In addition, each member of the first place teams will receive a $50 gift certificate and a group choice of a foursome of golf. Second and third place teams will also receive a group choice of a foursome of golf.

In addition, one dozen golf balls will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, and straightest drive. To add to the fun, golfers will have the opportunity to buy tickets for a poker hand ($5 for all par three's) mulligans ($5 with a limit of 4 per team), raffles, and a 50/50 drawing.
