Join Women's Health Specialists, one of the region's premier providers of health care for women, along with The Breast Cancer Awareness Group, at the third annual Pink Ribbon Golf Challenge and luncheon to be held on October 4 at the Eagle Marsh Golf Club in Jensen Beach. News Channel 5 anchor Tim Malloy will emcee the event. The cost is $95 per player, which includes fun competitions on and around the course, green fee and cart, continental breakfast, buffet lunch, awards ceremony, raffle ticket, and prizes.
Non-golfers are welcome to support this cause, too, by becoming a sponsor and donate raffle prizes, volunteering, or making a tax-deductible donation in honor of or memory of someone.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, but it affects men as well. Early detection tests for breast cancer may save thousands of lives each year. Together we can educate women and men on the importance of early detection. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
