Comerica Bank is the presenting sponsor for the 2009 National Philanthropy Day® (NPD). The Association of Fundraising Professionals- Treasure Coast Chapter will celebrate National Philanthropy Day with an awards luncheon on Friday, November 20 at the Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club in Palm City.

More than two-hundred guests will be at Harbour Ridge on November 20 to thank the National Philanthropy Day® nominees for all the philanthropic accomplishments this past year and to award the honorees of each category with a token of their gratitude. Nominations were accepted in the following categories: Individual Philanthropist, Volunteer Fundraiser, Corporate Philanthropist, Small Business Philanthropist, Group Supporting Philanthropy, Youth in Philanthropy, Youth Group in Philanthropy, and Unsung Hero.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals is working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, certification programs, and fosters the development and growth of fundraising professionals. The Treasure Coast Chapter represents some fifty charitable organizations in Martin and St. Lucie Counties.
