PAL Loves Being a Good Neighbor

In 2008, the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League, Inc. adopted Tiffany Avenue from US 1 to Lennard Road. Saturday, July 19 marked the third time this year that volunteers from PAL collected litter and trash from along the roadside and back in among the bushes and trees.

Each member of the crew received a bright green tee-shirt as part of the Adopt-a-Street clean-up program. PAL is a gold level sponsor of the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful effort sponsored by the city's Public Works Department.

Wonderful!!! It is needed that we all as a community keep our own corner of the world clean, and as a youth program involving the kids in this is never to early.
