PAL Youth Directors At Work

At the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League, young men and women learn the value of giving back to the community through the Youth Directors Program. The program, geared for youth between the ages of 12 and 18, provides many different opportunities for community service as well as training to help develop leadership skills.

At the recent Back to School Bonanza at the Treasure Coast Mall, Youth Directors from Port St. Lucie, as well as Youth Directors from Fort Pierce and Palm Bay, contributed many hours of volunteer work to help make the event a success. That's just one example of the positive impact the program is having on the community.

Port St. Lucie PAL Youth Directors meet once a month , and participate in one or two service projects a month. You can find out more about the program by calling PAL at 398-9436.
