Our Hands Need Hand-Me-Downs

St. Lucie Medical Center is accepting clothing donations of new and gently used items for The Salvation Army. The donation center is located in the cafeteria of the medical center and donations will be accepted throughout the month.
This charitable program is the brainchild of Chris Toriello, a member of the hospitals "fun squad". Chris saw a strong need and came to the frontline to organize the drive.The Fun Squad members assist in creating events and programs to help staff members celebrate their part as a team and giving back to the community. As our children return to school in new clothes, let us not forget those in the community who are not as fortunate by bringing outgrown items to be used by those in need.
