PSL City Council Honors PAL Youth Directors

At their October 26 meeting, the Port St. Lucie City Council recognized the Youth Directors from the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League for achieving a milestone in volunteer work. Since their inception in April, 2008, the young men and women from PAL have contributed over 1,000 hours of service to the community. Mayor Patricia Christensen presented a certificate to the Youth Directors and their advisers to honor this accomplishment.

The Youth Directors Program at PAL is a vehicle to provide young people ages 12 to 18 an opportunity to perform community service and to learn valuable lessons in leadership. For more information, please contact PAL at 398-9436.
