Ride on River Lilly Cruises
Contributed by: Susan F. Scherer on 5/24/2008

Ever wanted to get up close to nature and just can't afford the cost and maintenance of your own boat.
River Lilly Cruises at River Park Marina offers three different cruises that can allow you to get up close and personal with the wildlife along the North Fork of the Saint Lucie River-Aquatic Preserve.

The owners and operators, the Wades have offered Eco-Cruises since 1998 and would love to show you the treasures that they find daily on their 36 passenger covered pontoon boat.

The hour and a half cruises run $18.78 plus tax, but the experience is totally unforgettable.

The Jungle Cruise which leaves River Park Marina on Prima Vista Blvd disembarks at 1:pm daily. This fun cruise offers sightings of allocators, turtles and birds that call Florida home.

Wednesday at 4pm they pull up at Rivergate Park along Veterans Memorial Parkway in Port Saint Lucie to load up for their Bird Watching Cruise. Bird Island and several other nesting islands are passed on their gentle cruise along the water.

On Friday nights they disembark again from Rivergate Park to go on a relaxing Sunset Cruise. This gentle meander down the river is sure to relax anyone.

The River Lilly sure offers the Treasure Coast a way to enjoy and relax on the waterways.

Be sure to take your camera and binoculars.
