Catch a Fish - Win a New Rod!

The Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League conducted its first Fishing Clinic in June. One of the volunteers from the Savannah Club Fishing Club, Arnie Kihlmire, offered to build a custom-made rod and give it to the young person who caught the biggest fish at the next clinic.

Well, it was a ten and 1/2 inch bass that won the new rod for Brian Dessi at the Fishing Clinic on July 19. Brian, who was fishing for the second time in his life, caught the winning fish in the pond behind Rotary Park. Chances are Brian has not caught his last fish!
