Local Bikers Lend a Hand to Autism
Contributed by: Susan F. Scherer on 6/4/2008

If you are like me when you hear of a motorcycleorganizations you flash to thoughts of bikers in leather causing trouble in your neighborhood or terrorizing the local pets. Roadrunners Charities along with theNamKnightsare two motor cycleorganizations, that I can not say enough about in their support of the community. Both of these clubs were highly represented in local activism over the last few years and have helped make a difference in the Treasure Coast.

Victoria (Huggs) Huggins is the President for the Roadrunners and she has been supporting local charities since the day I met her. Recently the Roadrunners with the Knights put together a Bike Run that terminated at Treasure Coast Harley Davidson on Sunday June 1st.

Lots of food and fun was had and here was over five thousand dollars raised to help Hope Center for Autism, a Charter school in Jensen Beach that works with Autistic children from pre-K through 2nd grade. For more information check out
