At our May meeting the Treasure Coast Camera Cllub was informed by the Oxbow Eco Center, in Port St.Lucie, due to the newly mandated budget cutbacks, they would no longer be able to allow us meeting space. Immediately following that meeting,Robert Davis was able to locate a fine venue for us at the St. Lucie Community Center on Airoso Blvd, opposite the City Hall building. This offered an opportuinity to make other changes as well, starting with a small name change -henceforth the group will be known as the TREASURE COAST PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB. A new slate of officers was elected: Robert Davis, President, Marvin "Marty" Klein, Vice President, Ray Zajac, Secretary, Susan Bielefeld, Treasurer. The immediate effect was a great upsurge of enthusiasm among the members, culminating in being able to set up a Treasure Coast Photography Club exhibit in the MORNIGSIDE BRANCH LIBRARY, Port St. Lucie, during the entire month of August. Theme of this exhibit is BEYOND THE SNAPSHOT, and is now availble for viewing during all regular Library hours, and will run till August 31. This exhibit is fine for the entire family, as there are many wildlife, as well as scenic photos and even some floral pieces.
