TCCUG Awards Photography Prizes

October 14, 2009 brought an end to the excitement of who will win a prize in the 2nd Annual Photography Contest of the Tri-County Computer User Group. President Jackie Butts awarded prizes in four categories and one general prize for the "People's Choice" photo.

It was difficult for our Judge, Port St. Lucie artist, Susan Riffle, to make a decision but after separating a very large category into two, she was able to come up with our winners. Taking First Prize in the Close up event was George Emo for his photo "Supper Time"; First Prize in the People/pets category went to J.J. Clarke for her photo "The Flying Nun"; First Prize in the Children category was awarded to Hannah Hawkins for "Baby Sleeping" and the Landscape First Prize went to Dolores Thomas.

All meeting attendies had an opportunity to vote for their favorite and the winning photo was taken by Trudy Harangozo entitled "Victorian Homes".

Refreshments were provided and the"Ins and Outsof E-Bay" was presented by John Scesny for the education of all computer users present and their guests. To see a slide show of all entries in the contest go to www.tccug.net and click on photo contest.
