New Jamaican Restaurant with Tropical Flair

On September 27, 2007, Island Flavors opened their doors to serve the community with home cooked Caribbean meals to go. A restaurant like this has been long over due.

With it's bamboo walls, tropical colors and a 200 gallon fish tank with large Koi and Gold fish for your entertainment, it is truly a delight! Although the restaurant is take-out there is seating for ten, and whether you are dining in or picking up your order you will not regret your visit.

The food is truly the authentic taste of the Island. You will be delighted when you taste such dishes as succulent Oxtail, spicy Jerk Pork, Jerk and Curry Chicken, & fresh Escovich Fish. You just can't get enough of the beef patties which are a delicious treat. They also have a variety of fruit juices including homemade carrot juice and don't forget to indulge in the bread pudding and moist, homemade carrot cake. Island Flavors will also be offering special Thanksgiving orders for the holiday such as Deep Fried or Jerk Turkey and Baked Hams. For those with a sweet tooth, Island Flavors will also have a variety of delicious ice cream flavors.

Although they opened only four weeks ago, Island Flavors has quickly acquired quite a number of repeat customers who enthusiastically spread the word about the mouth watering Caribbean meals.

When you enter the restaurant you are greeted with smiling faces, and a "No problem" attitude. It is absolutely charming and refreshing. Island Flavors (772- 871-0300) is located in the newly built Parkway Plaza at 6570 NW Selvitz Road B2 Port Saint Lucie next to the new Drivers License Bureau.

Ya Mon, com on over and enjoy the taste of Jamaica and meet the owners and Chefs, Betty Mallory and Allan & Joyce Smith. Your taste buds will thank you for it!
