On Saturday, October 24, 2009, Barnes and Noble doled out a sweet treat: free hot chocolate and a free cookie. The freebie was made available through a printable coupon on their website.

Our local Barnes and Noble is employed by friendly helpful people, making the experience that much more memorable. The Star Bucks Cafe at the center of the store has filled the air with its signature scent. An assortment of pastry and beverages are available from quiche to cheesecakes and nectars to lattes. There is plenty of seating and best of all, Free WiFi! Just connect your laptop to their network and you're surfing in no time. Patrons use the cafe to meet for studying and intimate business meetings. Others are catching up with good friends, or just enjoying a hot cup of Joe and a good book..
Layout in a store like this is key. The aisles are wide making it comfortable to review a new story at your own pace, without feeling clustered. A wonderful assortment of books range in price from $4.oo and change on up. There's something for every budget here.
If you're not sure which book to buy, you can grab a few and kick back in an over sized chair, there are many throughout the store.
Be sure to check out the local upcoming Barnes and Noble events. Events range from writing workshops, book signings and children's story and craft time.
