Senior Extravaganza moves to Tradition Town Square
Fifth Annual Senior Lifestyle & Health Expo Extravaganza on
Saturday, June 16 from 9am-6pm at
Tradition Town Hall.
The EXTRAVAGANZA is a day filled with live entertainment, food, and fun! This celebration for seniors will begin with the local Veterans Association color guard marching down Tradition Square followed by opening ceremonies and ribbon cutting by local dignitaries. The EXTRAVAGANZA will present a wide variety of businesses, and medical professionals showcasing and exhibiting products and services for seniors. Some of the vendors expected to be present are: Advantage Care, Treasure Coast Dermatology, Seminole Brighton Casino, Schumacher Music, Cruise Holiday, Entry Point, A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. and many more!
Throughout the day the stage will be filled with a variety of entertainment consisting of a local senior dance troupe 'Footlites', the
Treasure Coast Idol Senior Talent Show, where seniors are invited to sing and dance and showcase their talent on stage. Another feature of the day is the
Senior Fashion Show presented by Dillards, incorporating the latest fashion trends for seniors performed by professional models.
In conjunction with the days activities are special events focused on the traditions and culture of the days when etiquette and manners were prevalent in a home.
A Senior High Tea Party will be presented in part as a fundraiser for
the Friends of the Treasure Coast Hospices. Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Grandmothers are invited to wear their hats as they come together for an afternoon lunch while local jewelers present their finest jewels hosted by Bonnie Ashley of Coast 101.3 FM, and Nick Perry of WPSL.
The EXTRAVAGANZA continues for all the couples married more than 20 years to come
renew their vows outside at the Tradition Gazebo. Bring your spouse to renew your vows at the Senior Extravaganza with a nondenominational Pastor, bridesmaids, flower girls, and a wedding cake to complete the wonderful wedding.
The Moonlight Serenade Ball will end the EXTRAVAGANZA with ballroom dancers led by the Mark Green Orchestra featuring Melody Layne playing the favorites of the 30's and 40's.
