The portico at HarborPlace Retirement Resort was the place to be on Thursday evening Oct. 16 as they roared in... Ford, Chevy, Buick, Oldsmobile, Mercury, Pontiac, MG... one classic beauty after another. The air was filled with the smell of popcorn and the sounds of oohs and aahs. What wonderful memories of days gone by!

"That 1955 Ninety-Eight is exactly like the one I took on my honeymoon!" exclaimed one HarborPlace Assisted Living resident.

HarborPlace Independent Living resident and racecar driver Billy G returned in his racing Porsche from a first place win in Key West in time to compare engine stats with the classics' owners.

HarborPlace thanks Gweed and the Gangsters for another wonderful semi-annual Classic Car Show.

"HarborPlace is always offering interesting activities for us," said one resident. (For example, tonight there was the car show, bingo, and the 98th birthday party for Augie in the private dining room. And earlier this week, the local candidates came for a Meet and Greet.)
