Abingdon at Tradition to Hold Topping Out Celebration

Port St. Lucie, Fla., March 30, 2009-Abingdon at Tradition, a master-planned, full-service retirement community in Port St. Lucie, will hold a Topping Out Celebration on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community is currently scheduled to open December 28, 2009.

A brief ceremony will be held where Jonathan Collins, Executive Director of Abingdon and Donald Thompson, President and CEO of Senior Living Communities will speak.

Elkins Constructors of Jacksonville, Florida is the general contractor for the construction of the campus, with Triad Design Group performing as the key architect and Contract Design Group managing the interior design. Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE: HCN), Senior Living Communities' financial partner, provides the financial backing for Abingdon at Tradition.
