PAL Boxers Earn More Hardware

Boxers from the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League did themselves proud at the 2008 USA Boxing Southeast Region Junior Olympic Championships held in Altamont Springs on May 16 and 17.

Christopher Torres, 15, brought home the gold in the 119 lb. class. Byron Zamora, also 15, finished first in the 125 lb. class, and his brother, Bryan Zamora, 14, finished first in the 191 lb. class.

Christopher and Byron will participate in the USA Boxing Junior Olympic National Championships in Marquette, Michigan from June 17-20.
