Sharpen Your Skills with Summer Baseball Camps

Again this summer, the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League, Inc. and the City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to provide baseball instructional camps for the youth of the city. Camps are scheduled for three different age groups so that our developing ballplayers can learn the skills needed to be successful at America's Pastime. All of the camps are scheduled to be held at Whispering Pines Park in Port St. Lucie under the direction of PAL Assistant Director Dave Hentz. The cost of each camp is $53.95 per camper, per session.

T-Ball Camp for youth ages 5 and 6 is an instructional program that will provide exercise and conditioning with an opportunity for participants to learn the skills of hitting, throwing running, and fielding, as well as hand-eye coordination. Two sessions of T-Ball camp are scheduled:
Session #1 - June 9 -13 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Whispering Pines
Session #2 - July 14 - 18 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Whispering Pines

Baseball Camp for youth ages 7-8-9 teaches the basics and fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base tunning. This camp will be held from June 16 - 20 at Whispering Pines Park from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.

Baseball Camp for youth ages 10-11-12 includes instruction in hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and game situations. Two sessions of this camp are scheduled:
Session #1 - June 23 - 27 from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon at Whispering Pines
Session #2 - July 21 - 25 from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon at Whispering Pines
