Come meet the ponies at the Red Bucket Pony Farm!
Contributed by: Lynn Tiffany on 6/6/2008

If you are between 4 and 14 years old and you want to learn basic horsemanship while having fun spending time with ponies, Granny Pam is once again offering her summer pony camp Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. through 6 p.m.

Kids will learn all there is about ponies, from proper care and grooming, feeding, and saddling to basic horsemanship and riding.

Everyday includes a trail ride.

Camp begins the first week of June and runs all summer.

Prices are $40 per day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
$25 per half-day, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Red Bucket Pony Farm is located at 500 E. Coker Rd., at Orange Avenue, about three miles west of I-95, Fort Pierce.

Granny Pam has been hosting pony camp for a number of years -- during summer, as well as during school breaks and no-school days. She enjoys teaching children about horses as much as she loves her ponies. Many of her "graduates" first discovered their love for these little animals, as well as a passion for horses and riding, while attending pony camp as young children.

You may also recognize this dedicated horsewoman from her Granny Pam's Party Ponies business, which offers pony parties for birthdays, festivals and other celebrations in the local area.

For more information or to sign up for camp, call Granny Pam at (772) 971-1902 or (772) 461-5151.
