Mojo Room: Best Club on Treasure Coast
Contributed by: Chris Torres on 12/1/2006

After hearing so much about this local hot spot, I just had to see what the fuss was all about. Upon leaving Governor's Grill in Fort Pierce for greener pastures, I was somewhat surprised and delighted to experience what has been frequently dubbed "the place to be" by word-of-mouth companions.

Looking for the hottest new nightclub on the Treasure Coast but don't feel like driving to Jensen Beach, Stuart, or even Palm Beach? If you are, then the Mojo Room in Port Saint Lucie is just the destination for you!

As a decorated veteran of nightlife, having spent roughly three years at FSU in Tallahassee and traveling to various Spring Break destinations, I can honestly say that the Mojo Room is as close to a real club as you can get!

I have been to the Mojo Room only once; however, that was more than enough to cement it among my top 10 places in Florida to cut loose! Panama City Beach, Tallahassee, Miami, Gainesville, Tampa, and Orlando are all great, but this has a local flare to compliment their exotic presence. Right after paying my cover charge ($5) and walking through the front doors, I was thrust into another dimension. To be honest, I had to ask myself whether I was still in Saint Lucie County.

The dance floor was jam packed with dancing patrons. Music was hot. Lighting was energetic. Video screens displayed the latest music videos and exciting graphics. Towards the front center of the dance floor, behind the ridiculously large speakers, is a roped-off elevated dance stage dedicated just for girls to shake their money makers. One might even call it an altar. The two well-stocked bars are enormous, yet still manage to get crowded. Though I waited for quite some time, the bartenders were more than friendly and hospitable. And the prices were quite reasonable, too. But if you don't feel like waiting, several striking shot girls walk atop bar counters and throughout the floor to quench your thirst, which most guys would gladly pay double to grab the attention of these enchanting sirens. Overall, the vibe could easily rival anything in Palm Beach.

If you are looking for something new, something different, or just looking for a good time, look no further. You don't have to drive far to actually leave the realm of Port Saint Lucie. It turns out, the fourth dimension resides right here. With a name like the Mojo Room, this trendy new nightclub is self-explanatory.
