Saturn of Stuart is pleased to announce the arrival of the new and exciting 2007 Saturn OUTLOOK crossover vehicle.
This 7/8 passenger crossover was designed from the outset as its own kind of people mover. Cramped built-from-a car seating, trucky body-on-frame driveability and compromised cargo proportions are not part of Outlook's repertoire. Instead, to really get the best of all worlds, it has a truly useful package, reasonable fuel economy and pleasing dynamics at a realistic price.
The 2007 Saturn Outlook is offered in two models, XE and XR. A wide range of prices reflects the Outlook's array, from $27,990 for a base model XE to almost $44,000 for an absolutely loaded XR AWD with all the family friendly amenities you could imagine.
Every Outlook includes three rows of seating, the second and third rows of which fold flat easily for a whopping 117 cubic feet of total cargo room. Standard is GM's highly flexibile 3.6-liter DOHC V6 tuned to either 270hp or 275 hp. Three-row side curtain airbags, traction and stability control, rollover sensing system, tire pressure monitering and OnStar Generation 7 which features a crash-notification and 911 dispatch system are also standard equipment.
The real story is inside the Outlook. All three rows of seating are suitable for adults. Third-row access is class leading. With the pull of one obvious lever, either of the captains chairs ( or 60/40-split bench halves), tilt, slide and sandwich up against the first-row seats. Combined with the low floor, the result is easy access to the rearmost seats, even for grandparents.
With all seats occupied, the 20 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the third row is useful. When all seats are folded flat, the 117-cubic-foot cargo-carrying ability of the Outlook is enourmous- even greater than the Chevrolet Tahoe.
The Outlook provides lively, precise, rack-and-pinion steering. The Outlook's four-wheel ventilated-disc brakes offer excellent feel, feedback and heat resistance.
AutoWeek
: "Outlook's target is the Toyota Highlander and the Honda Pilot. If our experience is any indication, Saturn has overshot its mark. At a price some 15% lower, it matched up well against the Acura MDX.
Saturn Outlook has the best access to the third row of any non-minivan in our experience. Not only is it easy to get into, but we'd gladly ride in that third row all day."
BusinessWeek.com:
"The first thing that hits you about the Outlook when you open the door is a very classy, pristinely executed interior.
Driving the Outlook was every bit as pleasurable as the best of the nidsized SUV's- the Lincoln Aviator, Nissan Murano, and Toyota Highlander.
The Saturn Outlook is superior to its domestic and Asian competitors. And it's the best thing that seats at least seven people that GM has ever made."
WashingtonPost.com
: "Because the Outlook is based on a unitized car platform, it rode low to the ground, which meant the older less agile members of our family easily entered and exited the vehicle.
Although the Outlook is as large as the Honda Odyssey minivan, it handles in the manner of a much smaller and lighter vehicle- and it looks better."
The 2007 Saturn Outlook is now available for showing at Saturn of Stuart. Saturn of Stuart is located at 3131 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Fl,across from the Home Depot Shopping Center and next to The Outback restaurant.
