Blog Entry 2 of 2 Creating Dine-One-One Restaurant Delivery, Inc. in
Okay, ever think about opening a new business in Indian River county? Well this blog will show you what it took for the creators of Dine-One-One Restaurant Delivery, Inc. A newly fromed company in Indian River County. The tedious tasks the state and county require. The arguments over decisions and fights over who is doing what.Who is working and who isn't doing much to help. Who is in control who wants control. Who has earned it. Accomplishments, and things still hanging in the balance waiting to be acted on. Its a tough job putting together a business. Things pop up all the time that were not anticipated by the founders, but everyone else seems to know them. Find out just what they are. How they were handled. Ever see people put together a business plan while the business was being built? Its a mess. Want to know what happens when you have to few to do the jobs that need doing? Stick around and you will see. Ever wonder what its like to be on a deadline you set and try to beat it, when every dollar you own goes into a business it matters.

Second look at a great opportunity to make money
Contributed by: Dine-One-One Restaurant Delivery, Inc.   on 2/20/2007

So here it is Febuary of 2007, I have invested almost everything I can into our new company and still find ourselves about 4k short of the money I really need to get things rolling. My business partner has moved back in so he can contribute on a daily basis, and he is proving himself to be an asset. We are currently designing a few " quick pick " fliers to get passed out to businesses in Sebastian and Vero Beach. My idea is that its better to have a trickle of cash coming in than nothing. I really wish I could find even a single investor that had enough faith in my ability to see this through. But, I wont give up. Some how, some way, I will make it happen for Christopher and I. We are rapidly developing our website to display all the menus from the restaurants we will be using at start-up, sadly they have proven unwilling to willingly pay for advertising or give us a cut of the food sales so sadly it will be passed on the the customer but given our market is primarily those out on Johns Island and Orchid Island and Indian River Drive I am sure they will think little of it. We will aim our ad sales towards other companies in the cities to get them to help cover the costs of printing in exchange for a chance to get ad exposier to the counties elete residants and the offices of the counties office workforce. So how does one get a small loan when a bank wont work with you? Good Question. How do we get a private investor to find a lil faith in a couple of guys with a dream and the ability to make something with so much potential work? Another good Question. I just can't get answers to those questions any easier than I can actually find the right person to hand over a Check to Dine-One-One Restaurant Delivery, Inc. I was even willing to go as high as the states permitted interest Cap and beyond.. but the reality is, unless you know people who know people with money to lend the willingness to meet the max interest allowed by state law or beyond that on a personal/ private loan mean nothing. Everyone thinks its a super business idea with endless potential. I have 38 dollars left in my personal account to make it till the end of the month, I have to ask myself, do I get the paper to print fliers on tomorrow or do I eat? I guess I have to be a risk taker and say get the paper and pray that I get enough sales to carry me through and gradually purchase the needed things the company really really needs to run at its best. I won't except failure. Its just not an option, at least not one I am willing to go with in this lifetime. Will anyone step up and help us make this dream work? Four thousand dollars would be so easy to make once we got running, but in order to get running we need four thousand dollars. What a catch 22.
