Blog Entry 1 of 3 Take Action Easy as 123 or FYI

There are so many important issues that come through my inbox that I thought I'd share them. Almost all come with a pre-written letter making it easy to take action. If you agree with the action alert of the day, all it takes is a minute to type in your name and address to make your voice heard. (You don't have to put your phone number down.) Then there's some stuff that I think is good to know just FYI (for your information). If anything, just to be aware of.

My first attempt at this so I'll have to see how it goes. Did you know that chemicals are currently tested for safety on adults?The Kid Safe Chemical Act of 2008 has been introduced in Congress and it needs co-sponsors.Basically it puts the burden of proof on Chemical Companies to make sure the chemicals they sell us are safe for our children.

There's a pre-written letter (and more info) where all you have to do is type in your name and address and hit send, here:

This is just to get enough co-sponsors. Once (and if) it does, then we'll probably need to send another letter in support when it's gets close to the floor for a vote.
