Design a Bookmark Contest

What:	The North Indian River County Library announces the 9th annual "Design a Bookmark" contest for elementary school age children. Children who wish to participate should stop by the Library to fill out an entry form and pick up the right size paper for the bookmark. The deadline for entries, which should be designed around the theme of reading, is November 7th. Winners in each grade level category (K-grade 1, grades 2-3, grades 4-5) will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Vero Beach Book Center provided by the GFWC Sebastian River Junior Woman's Club, whose members will also serve as judges of the contest. The three winning bookmarks will be printed in full color with funds provided by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library for distribution during National Library Week next April.
