Have you ever wanted to see the sights in far off places, but haven't quite gotten there yet? From now until November 28th all you have to do is travel to Southeast Gallery of Photographic Art in Downtown Vero Beach to view amazing color and black and white images from around the world including Japan, Italy, Morocco, China, and the Czech Republic - just to name a few. The area's only gallery devoted solely to the art of photography invites you to experience their latest featured exhibit, "World Views" which focuses on travel in the United States and around the world.
Thirty-two images were selected for this exhibit, through a juried process of over 100 entries received from around the world. Not only were the images captured around the world, some of the 20 photographic artists, whose work is represented, are from as far away as Canada, the United Kingdom, as well as various parts of the United States. Those artists include Bruce Bain, Douglas Capron, Dawn Currie, Elizabeth Dudas, Patrick Faehnle, Margaret Goembel, Dan Hittleman, Walter Hobbs, J. Scott Kelly, Melinda Moore, Amanda Mortimer, Mike Ricciardi, S.M. Boris Robinson, Virginia Saunders, Kim Seng, Roger Sobkowiak, Phil Taylor, Nancy True, Barry Vangrov, and Stefania Wright-Osment. Each photographer's style is unique and the images featured in this exhibit reflect their own view of the world.
There's no need for a passport or a plane ticket, just stop by the gallery located at 1446 19th Place, Suite 100, (on the north side of the eastbound artery of State Road 60 - just west of 14th Avenue) in Downtown Vero Beach, Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
