Members of theFRIENDSHIP CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY patiently waited for the completion of scheduled improvements to their meeting place and were finally able to celebrate their first year together inBuilding "A" in Barefoot Bay. In the accompanying photo, Board member, Carol Hill and Event Coordinator,Patti Rinabargerlook on as theirPastor, Dr. Ronald D. Thomas, Sr. turned the last shovel of dirt on the Triple Palm commemorating the occasion originally scheduled for July.A plaque honoring "THE GENEROSITY OF THOSE WHO OPENED THEIR HEARTS AND THE DOORS OF BUILDING A FOR THE WORSHIP OF GOD BY OUR FELLOWSHIP" will be placed on an adjacent wall nearby.

Friendship Christian Community has been fulfilling the promise of its name since July of 2008 offering a fellowship of friends, Christian prayer & worship and community service from Sebastian to Barefoot Bay. With "Clusters" (small groups) throughout the Sebastian and Micco areas,they are a "hands-on" group of Christians fulfilling God's calling in their lives 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.They continue to take pride in the privilege of offering services of worship in Building A in Barefoot Bay and look forward to establishing a Thursday evening service of Prayer & Healing this November 12th in the Sebastian/Roseland area.
