The Sebastian Lions held their annual Installation and Awards dinner on June 24, 2008 at the Roseland Community Center. Lion District Governor Roger Messer was the guest of honor and installing officer. Lion Shirley Hall was named recipient of the Melvin Jones Award, one of the highest individual awards bestowed on a Lion, for her tireless efforts in working with the legally and totally blind and her unfailing support of Lions Club and Lions International Projects throughout her tenure as a Lions Club member.
