The Sebastian Lions Club would like to thank the management and staff of Earl's Hideaway Lounge for their gracious and generous hospitality over the Memorial Day Weekend. Not only did the manager and staff go out of their way to support our club by inviting us to sell popcorn, sell raffle tickets and solicit donations on Saturday and Sunday, but they donated many raffle prizes to us. We would also be remiss if we didn't thank Ms. Frannie Howe-Southern who coordinated the events activities with us, Ms. Dar from station WKPX, and the many bikers who attended the event both days and gave generously of their dollars Saturday and Sunday. Our Lions worked hard, but as a result we were able to raise a tidy amount of money, something many nonprofit organizations would envy considering the current economic climate. Because of the generosity of the management and staff and those bikers that contributed and bought popcorn and raffle tickets, the Sebastian Lions will be able to assist several more handicapped persons than they would have been able to otherwise. Thanks again, Earl's management, staff and patrons.
