Luncheon to Honor 2008 Beverly O'Neill Volunteer of the Year

Please join the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition and Beverly O'Neill in honoring Kathleen Hillcoat of The Sun Up Center as the 2008 Beverly O'Neill Volunteer of the Year. The other nominees are Maryanne Egan, Jane Goss, Betty Judd, Joanna Meyers, Vickie Penly, Maya Peterson, Helen Schroeder and Neil VanVliet. Kathleen and the nominees will be honored for their volunteerism and commitment to improving the lives of Indian River County children at a luncheon and award ceremony on Thursday, May 1 st at 11:30 am. The luncheon is $28 per person and will be held at the Disney Vero Beach Resort located at 250 Island Grove Terrace in Vero Beach. Reservations are required and must be received by Friday, April 18, 2008.

The Beverly O'Neill Volunteer Award was created by the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition eight years ago to honor Ms. O'Neill's spirit and volunteerism in our community. Ms. O'Neill was instrumental in the success of the Healthy Start Coalition and continues to volunteer for many organizations representing the interests of Indian River County children throughout the Treasure Coast.
