Biography: At an early age, Whitney knew she wanted to be involved in racing. At the age of 5 she was putting around the yard in a go-kart "just like Daddy's" and pretending to win the Daytona 500. At the age of 8, Whitney raced her very first go-kart race at Hobe Sound Speedway and won. Her life was changed at that moment.

Through several years of go-kart racing at such locations like Daytona Speedway, Fl; Charlotte Speedway, NC; Chapel Hill Raceway, NY; and locally at St. Lucie Speedway, Sharps Speedway and Orlando Speedworld, and after several Championships, it was decided that it was time to move to Stock Cars. On March 16, 2007, Whitney made her Début into the world of Stock Car racing. Her first season found her placing as high as 3rd place in feature races and as low as not finishing due to an engine blowing. Each experience brought Whitney a little closer to understand what it means to drive a race car competitively, against men and machines.

In 2008, Whitney decided to take a step in furthering her racing career by creating a business named "Whitney Poole Motorsports." This business helps to prove Whitney's legitimate claim to racing. Another huge difference with the 2008 season will be that Whitney will race in two very different types of series. Continuing on with the Sportsman series at Orlando Speedworld, Whitney will also motor a pro truck in the Advanced Auto Parts Pro Tuck series throughout Florida.

Whitney's future plans are to attend college where she can study architecture, engineering or business. But one important consideration into the choice of colleges will be the college's proximity to a race track. Whitney's dream is to be the first female to win the Daytona 500. A huge undertaking, but with the right contacts, equipment, and backing she knows that it's a reachable dream. This is one lady who knows what she wants and won't quit until she obtains it.
