Blog Entry 41 of 75 Jean Sanders: Fine Art Daily - Painting Challenge

Every day, after eight or so hours at my day job, I will ignore my Best Beloved and the children (the Pouting Princess and Tall Boy) and I will go into my studio and will paint a small piece which I will then post for sale. All the paintings will be priced at $50.00 - a veritable bargain for original fine art that is matted and highly suitable for framing and prominent placement on your wall. Stop by daily to see the new work! Early in 2007 a wizard friend will be designing a website for me that will make it so much easier for you to see the new art. I was working on a variety of projects in the studio today, sobbing along to a sad story in the second season of Grey's Anatomy. Our gourds came from Georgia last weekend, and look very pretty on the kitchen counter. I was much happier painting them.
We tooled up to Vero Beach yesterday so Tall Boy could see one of his favorite authors - Brian Jacques. Nice to get out of Dodge and drive along the water. Even nicer to spend a hour in a room with people who love to read. Best yet was the huge, hot cheese steak afterwards! Yumm!

Lovely fall still-life. Added some beauty on my birthday although admitedly I didn´t see it until I returned to Germany this week. Foster

We've never been lovers of gourds, but these are fine looking ones we must admit. The colors are vivid and show off the gourds to good advantage. Still....
