Best Beloved and I tooled out to Palm City to investigate our local CSA yesterday. Alas, we were early, and the farm store wasn't open yet, and I think we arrived between crops. But in a couple of weeks we are going to become Community Supported Agriculture enthusiasts. The story in yesterday's New York Times about tainted meat ( http://www.nytimes.com/2009/ 10/04/health/04meat.html?_r=1& ref=health) was quite shocking. If you get a chance, visit D&D Farms in Palm City.
On an airier note, we stopped along the way to say hello to a pair of inquisitive goats.
