Seacoast Named Best Place to Work in Martin County

Seacoast National Bank was recognized, as one of the "Best Places to Work" in Martin County by The Human Resource Management Association of Martin County at the 2008 Best Places to Work Luncheon on October 2.

"We were honored to receive this recognition, which I accepted on behalf of Seacoast National Bank," explained Tom Wilkinson, Treasure Coast President, Seacoast National Bank, "Best Places to Work assists our organization to benchmark our performance as an employer and to set new standards of excellence as we plan for the future."

Of the companies that applied for Best Places to Work status, only three were recognized in each of the four categories. This is the second consecutive year that Seacoast has achieved this honor in the Over 250 Employees category in Martin County. Seacoast also received the award in 2005.

Best Places to Work is a national program that was developed to provide a confidential forum for local employers to participate in an evaluation of various workplace best practices and programs. The report serves as a tool for Human Resource planning as well as for staff recruitment and retention. Organizations are evaluated in areas including benefits, performance management, turnover, time off, compensation, and unique perk programs.

Seacoast National Bank has 43 offices in Florida and approximately $2.4 billion in assets, and is one of the largest independent banks headquartered in Florida.
