Stuart attorney elected to The Florida Bar YLD Board of Governors
Russell J. Ferraro, III has been elected to The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Board of Governors to represent the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit. Ferraro was sworn in at the annual meeting of The Florida Bar on June 26, 2009 in Orlando and will serve a two-year term. The YLD Board of Governors is charged with advocating on behalf of young lawyers throughout the state in order to provide guidance to newly admitted attorneys and foster a successful transition from academia into professional practice.
Ferraro, a Stuart resident, has been practicing law for eight years. He practices in the area of criminal defense in both state and federal courts and is a partner at the Stuart-based Ferraro Law Group, P.L. The firm has received the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
Ferraro is also a member of the Justice Major B. Harding Inn of Court, the Martin County Bar, and serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club, Palm City branch.
