Architectural design excellence award for Harborage Yacht Club & Marina

Harborage Yacht Club & Marina received a Gold Medallion Award in the 2009 Treasure Coast Builders Association's (TCBA) Annual Medallion Awards. The annual competition recognizes and celebrates excellence in the local building industry in the fields of Architecture, Interior Design, Marketing, and Sales Achievements.

Harborage Yacht Club & Marina's 11,000-square foot three-story clubhouse is situated along the St. Lucie River overlooking a 300-slip deepwater marina. Amenities include a billiard and club room, a fitness center, sauna and spa treatment rooms, captain's lounge, restaurant, tropical infinity edge swimming pool and spa, with a complete poolside bar and grill, and a tropically landscaped 3,000 linear foot waterfront promenade.

The interiors of the nautical themed clubhouse and affiliated amenities showcase the dramatic interiors of Steven G, a South Florida design firm, and were specifically designed to cater to boating and fishing enthusiasts who seek sophistication off and on the water.

Design appointments throughout the clubhouse include rich furnishings, warm wood tones, walls of stone, sea grass coverings, custom millwork, classic chandeliers, colorful artwork, and a symbolic embossed Compass Rose on the foyer's wooden floor, anchoring the nautical theme of the interior.

Entered in the category of homes priced $300,000 and under, Harborage Yacht Club & Marina's clubhouse was the only clubhouse on the Treasure Coast recognized this year.
