Comics 4 Halloween
Contributed by: "Capt Joel" Kilmer - Big Dog Comics on 10/16/2007

For the past 24 years "Capt Joel" Kilmer of Big Dog Comics has been giving the little ghouls and ghosts of Saint Lucie County the ultimate in Halloween treats, Comic books! When asked "Why give comic books?", "Capt. Joel's" response is always "They are popular with the kids, safe and educational. Parents don't have to worry about hidden surprises and kids have fun reading. Who knows, they just might learn something in the bargain".

You can buy comics for treats for just a few cents more than those mini bars in the bulk bags, at Big Dog Comics. A pack of 25 comics is only Ten dollars. So pick up some of our Howl-o-ween Comic Book Treat packs to hand out to the tricksters at your door. They are the safe, sugar free and educational alternative to candy that kid's love. Here are ten reasons to do Comics 4 Halloween

10 - Comics influence the Imagination.
[Fewer children read and imagine with the computer age,
This is an excellent opportunity to nurture an imagination]

9 - Comics are long lasting.
[Candy takes moments to eat; Comics are long lasting and reusable]

8 - Comics are Drug-Free

7 - Comics can be Inexpensive
[Comics bought in bulk can be equal to or less then candy bars]

6 - Comics are kid friendly

5 Comics are Sugar-Free
[Chock full of fiber though - just kidding!]

4 - Giving Comic is unique
[Kids forget candy at each home but yours will be the first they come to year after year]

3 - Comics promote reading!
[Keeping our children reading can never be wrong]

2 - Kids love Comic Books
[Its true, didn't you love em as a kid?]
