Keeping up with Jones - Lights! Camera! Action!

Lights, camera, action! Recently, I had the opportunity to work with director Gary Scott of Rapid Fire Films and cameraman Paul Shepherd to produce a TV spot for Stuart Magazine. Our mission was to feature leading lady Raquel Tilton of Vero Beach in a fast paced romp through downtown Tradition and Harborage Yacht Club and Marina in Stuart as she tried to get her hands on a copy of Stuart Magazine.

The well-read glossy lifestyle magazine is seen in the all the best places - The Salty Home and the Cornerstone bistro in Tradition, at Harborage in Stuart and on board a gorgeous 74', $3.1 million Ocean Alexander yacht in the marina.

Cast members included Diamond Litty, Lynn Mozena and David Pierce, Traci Grodi, Dana Roberts, Rosalyn Hall and husband Mark Nielen, and two newcomers Travis Anstett and Joe Delio.

Jolene and Stephanie of Fusion salon in St. Lucie West did the hair and makeup and Dillard's provided wardrobe. I'll let you know where and when you can view the commercial.

After our recent water woes, it was great to get out in the park on Saturday, August 31 for Vibin' in the Park, a premiere benefit for the SPCA of the Treasure Coast. Singer Shelby Raye, 16, sang Just Teasin', Johnny and Free Sample, all originals written by Traci Treiger and Jeff Shepherd.

My dogs Lucy and Winston accompanied me to this dog friendly event and Winston even had a bath thanks to the donated services of Happy Tails Pet Grooming. Anne Schafer, Lesa Murphy, Jeff Fogg, Jeff Hughes, Jennifer Salas and Angela Gomez helped to organize the event and raise money for the SPCA.

Speaking of good causes, hundreds of folks turned out to donate blood at the recent blood drive at Toyota of Stuart to benefit Kyle Wahl, the five-year old boy who requires almost daily transfusions. John Pierson, owner of TOS set a goal of 204 pints donated, a new record. With four Big Red Buses available on Friday and Saturday, the professional and friendly staff of the Florida blood Centers, were kept very busy making sure that every drop of the precious stuff was banked.
