Registration for the Fall Semester has begun at Indian River Community College.

The Fall Semester will begin on Wednesday, August 23, and early registration is recommended for convenience and the best selection of classes. A hallmark of this semester will be student convenience with day and evening classes, Friday-only classes, and flexible schedules for computer classes.
IRCC offers more than 100 degree programs for transfer to senior universities, career training, and personal enrichment. Associate in Arts programs give students a firm foundation for upper-level studies. Students who earn an AA degree from IRCC are guaranteed transfer to a Florida public university.
Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science programs provide career training in over 50 in-demand fields. If you want to change careers, you can get the skills you need in Nursing Assistant, Computers, Child Care, Cosmetology, Automotive, and tuition free programs in Culinary Arts and Electrical Apprenticeships. If you're interested in becoming a teacher, at any level from pre-school to graduate school, attend the Teacher Education Career Fair on Tuesday, August 15 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Chastain Campus.
Whatever IRCC program you choose, the College has a variety of options to meet your needs. Friday-only classes provide the option of only coming to campus one day per week. Friday-only classes at the Chastain Campus include Accounting, Computers, Economics, English, Math, Speech, History and Sociology.
There are new opportunities to build computer skills with a customized schedule. Classes in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint), as well as Internet classes are offered "anytime" Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Students can choose the time that is most convenient for them. New and returning students can benefit from attending New Student Orientation. Orientation sessions will be held at the Chastain Campus on Tuesday, July 25 and Wednesday, August 9.
IRCC also offers free GED Preparation, Adult High School and English as a Second Language at several locations in Martin County.
