Parents of Children with Disabilities to Meet

The Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Parent Advisory Council has announced their meeting schedule for 2008-2009. The meetings will be held in the Media Center at Pinewood Elementary School from 6:30-8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, Tuesday, November 18, 2008, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 and Tuesday, April 28, 2008.

Parents or caregivers of students any age with any type of disability are urged to participate. The meeting is also open to teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators and educators involved with Exceptional Student Education (ESE). By participating attendees can assist the ESE Department with strategic planning. Agendas include topics of interest and information for parents and interested participants.

Parents are urged to ask a friend to accompany them to the meetings so that parental involvement increases.
