Need SAT Tutoring? NEC Offers Group Seminars!

College and university acceptance has evolved into a highly competitive process, compelling students to achieve better SAT scores and meet more stringent entrance requirements. To help students distinguish themselves by maximizing their potential for success on the SAT, NEC (National Education Consultants) has created a series of seminars offering intensive coursework in the Math, Critical Reading and Writing sections of this important test.

NEC, founded by Karen Maxwell and Lisa Kilian, will offer the next seminar starting the end of September to aide students for the November 1st SAT test. Professor Karen Maxwell is a Florida certified teacher with both a BA and MA in mathematics and a former Associate Senior Professor from Miami Dad College. Lisa Kilian, who teaches SAT prep at JBHS, also earned a BA and MA in her field of English.
