Drifting in the quiet waters of her professional and personal life, it takes a stormy sailboat ride, a sudden illness, and a serendipitous meeting of a stranger to force Megan to rethink her priorities. Sandwiched between two handsome suitors, one who appreciates her creative nature, and the other who wants to add her to his collection of objet d'art, she finds her seemingly perfect, danger-free life held in the balance; her future uncertain.

Will she realize her dream of introducing art to the less fortunate youth of the inner city, or will she choose a more collegiate profession? In matters of the heart, which suitor will she take into her heart and what will happen to the one she leaves behind?

SPANISH MOSS offers the reader not only a journey of descriptive prose, but Megan's story snares the reader into a search for the meaning and realization of true love.
