Expo & Home Show to Cover Everything for the Home

The Treasure Coast's largest consumer home show returns to the area on September 30 through October 1, 2006 and will showcase everything for the home-inside or out-and offer chances to win over $75,000 in cash and prizes.

The Treasure Coast Builders Expo and Home Show will feature hundreds of the area's top building specialists and more than 90 booths filled with the latest products for the home. The show has been in existence for more than 20 years and is the place for area consumers to see, touch, compare and buy everything they need for their homes and gardens.

According to show co-chair's Cathy Barham of New Homes & Design and Don Warburton of Aburton Homes, "This expo features everything from cost-saving appliances to decorating ideas, flooring systems to remodeling, and solar heating to custom pools. Whether you're looking for new home ideas or just looking for a few creative ideas to dress up your current residence...the Expo is the place to be."

In addition to the exhibits, show attendees will have an opportunity to play the "Crack the Safe" game for a chance to win thousands in cash and prizes. These include a $25,000 'Dream Kitchen' provided by Aburton Homes' Remodeling Division; a Dodge Ram pickup truck sponsored by Charlie's Dodge of Ft. Pierce; and, $25,000 cash provided by TitleStream of florida and AAA Moose's Bail Bonds.

For those who aren't shopping for home products, but like antique cars, a display by Gweed's Antique Cars club will also be part of the show.

The show venue is the St. Lucie Fairgrounds, located at 15601 West Midway Road in Fort Pierce. Admission is free. Expo hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. For information, call (772) 336-8222, (772) 562-8222, or (772) 287-7795.
