CALLING ALL CANINES!

4th Annual Howl-o-ween Mutt March

NEW Location: Halpatiokee Park

PALM CITY, FL - Grab a funny hat, take a leash to your owner, and head on over to Halpatiokee Park in south Stuart on Saturday, October 28 for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast's (HSTC) 4 th annual Howl-o-ween Mutt March. Or, just come and watch all of the fun!

"The Humane Society is growing in terms of our adoption rates, donors & volunteers, and general popularity, so we have moved the event from Indian RiverSide Park in Jensen Beach to Halpatiokee Park in Stuart," said David Miller, executive director of HSTC. "It will accommodate more people and pooches as well as lots of activities, vendors and special features. Entertainment for all is 100% guaranteed."

There will be games and prizes for dogs and kids, obedience and agility demonstrations, a dog wash and spa, a selection of foods to snack on and, of course, the infamous doggie costume contest. WRMF-Radio (97.9 FM) will spin tunes at the park and the station's morning personality, Jennifer Ross, will emcee the event. Registered walkers get free breakfast courtesy of Chantal's Café & Catering.

Presented by Toyota of Stuart, the Mutt March is one of the HSTC's most popular and important fundraisers. Other sponsors include Eventmakers, Chantal's Café & Catering, The Palm Beach Post, 97.9 FM (WRMF) and Bank Atlantic.

11:00 a.m.: Costume winners announced

SPECIAL PRE-REGISTRATION EVENT: October 14, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Toyota of Stuart.

All proceeds of the Mutt March support the care for and adoption of HSTC's animals, Humane Education programs, the AniMobile (spay/neuter services), and many more community outreach activities. The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast relies solely on individual and corporate donations; no funding is received from government agencies or other organizations.
