On Saturday, September 27, join pet owners at John Pierson's Toyota of Stuart for the Stupid Pet Tricks contest from 9am-12pm. Come in, have some fun and have your pet show off their best tricks! The 12 pets deemed trick-worthy will then compete for the grand prize during the West Palm Beach Home and Garden Show, being held October 17-19 at the Americraft Center at the South Florida Fair Grounds. There is no fee to audition and no advance registration for the contest at Toyota of Stuart. The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is the pet charity of this year's West Palm Beach Home and Garden Show.
The grand prizewinner will win a trip to New York City, which includes tickets to the David Letterman Show, courtesy of CBS 12, air travel courtesy of AirTran Airways and accommodations provided by the legendary Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan. At both events, you can choose to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a brand new 2009 Toyota Prius graciously donated by John Pierson's Toyota of Stuart. Raffle tickets are only $20.
All proceeds from the raffle go to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. One lucky winner's name will be announced at The Paws & Claws gala, "Blueprints for Pawprints" on February 15, 2009 at Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart.
On September 27 at Toyota of Stuart, you may also register for the Silvester Foundation Mutt March to benefit the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast held at Halpatiokee Park in Stuart on Saturday, October 18.
John Pierson and Toyota of Stuart continue to show their support of community associations, events and non-profit organizations. They have received the Toyota Motor Sales President's Award for 13 years in a row and have also had the honor of being recognized as the Corporate Philanthropist of the Year. Upcoming events sponsored by Toyota of Stuart include Le Bal Masque to benefit United for Families on October 25, The Chrysanthemum Ball to benefit Martin Memorial Foundation on November 1 and The Light the Walk Night to benefit the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society.
Toyota of Stuart is located at 5101 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, phone 772-283-8300 or visit their website at www.toyotaofstuart.com.
