14 th Annual "Youth Pumpkin Patch"
First United Methodist Church of Stuart
1500 S. Kanner Hwy.
Stuart, FL 3499
The pumpkins arrive for our annual pumpkin patch on Wednesday, October 11 at 4pm. Thousands of pumpkins will be unloaded by volunteers from the church. There will be a second load of pumpkins arriving on Saturday, October 21 at 9am.
The patch is located at the corner of Kanner Hwy and Manor Drive, adjacent to the church.
The patch will be open from 9am to 9pm daily (except Sundays) beginning Thursday, October 12 through October 31. On Sundays and after hours people can shop using the "honor system."
There will also be gourds, Indian corn and hay for sale.
On weekday mornings area pre-schools will visit the patch to buy pumpkins, take pictures and have a story read to them.
This is the 14 th year that our church has conducted the pumpkin patch and all proceeds go to the youth group to fund trips and retreats throughout the year. Many of our youth pay for their summer mission trips from money they earn at the patch!
The pumpkins are grown in New Mexico by the Navajo Indians. The proceeds from this patch benefit the Navajos as well as our youth group!
Everyone is invited to visit our patch! It's a great place to take pictures of little ones and to pick out the perfect pumpkin.
